King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies
The King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, part of the King Faisal Foundation, operates with its own legal personality and independent budget. Founded in 1983 AD (1405 AH), the center is headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was established to advance the noble mission of King Faisal bin Abdulaziz (1906-1975) by promoting knowledge and learning both within the Kingdom and globally. The center functions as a research hub, fostering connections between researchers and institutions to preserve, disseminate, and produce scientific work. Its goal is to broaden the impact of existing publications and research, positioning them at the forefront of scholarly discourse and addressing the interests of Islamic societies in the humanities, social sciences, arts, and literature.
