The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) today laid the foundation stone for the project developing and rehabilitating Al-Wadiah land inlet in the Yemeni Governorate of Hadhramaut.
The project aims to increase the efficiency of the inlet, including its capacity to accommodate travelers and commercial traffic, and to improve the infrastructure of the transport sector in Yemen.
The project emanates from the strong fraternal relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Yemen, and its goal is aiming to boost trade between the two neighboring countries.
SDRPY carried out more than 229 development projects and initiatives in Yemen, in eight basic, and vital, sectors: education, health, water, energy, transportation, agriculture and fisheries, building the capacity of government institutions, and development programs, all this to aid the Yemeni people.
